Howdy! I'm a Texan, born and raised! I grew up in a multi-cultural family in a military community.

My niece, when she was young, called me 'Auntie Jelly'. My friends and former colleagues called me JAM (my initials). I enjoy the simple things in life, so "Simply Jelly Jam" seemed fitting as a pen name.

I believe that self-care is important to my health and value of life. For me, self-care includes writing to de-stress, learning new hobbies, improving old skills, spending time with my family and dogs, and enjoying all the simple things in life!
