Games that grant me a temporary escape from reality.

How do you temporarily escape reality? Sports? Arts and crafts? Books? Nap time? Lately, I immersed myself in a few video games to occupy my mind.
In case it's helpful, below are the main points covered in this post:
Simulation Games

Simulation video games do a great job keeping my mind occupied.
I especially love management simulation games like Two Point Hospital and Planet Zoo despite frequently going into debt in-game. I own but have yet to play other tiles including Hotel Architect, Planet Coaster 2, and Cities: Skylines II, and Two Point Museum.
I found myself playing a life simulation game frequently the past six months. More specifically, I started playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons after a three-year hiatus.
I started a new save file last fall and fell in love with the game once again. To keep myself from getting bored with, I typically play an average of ten minutes daily. (I really want to reach that one-year achievement.)
Hidden Object Games

Hidden object video games are my go-to when I do not want to put much thought into what I am playing.
This year, I have been going through my huge collection of FIND ALL and FIND KITTENS' games after buying FIND ALL Series Bundle over the winter holidays. I am currently stumped with FIND KITTENS: The last of cats because I am avoiding using the help/cheat feature. I will find them all eventually.
Other games I previously played include A Park Full of Cats, ToriDori, Travellin Cats, and Ever Seen A Cat? (Yes, I realize I played A LOT of cat-themed hidden object games.)
Puzzle Games

Puzzle games get me to keep my brain focused and active.
Some of the games I played make me feel stupid when I fail to progress through levels. However, I always felt satisfied when I successfully completed whatever I was doing!
This past year, I enjoyed playing That's not my Neighbor (horror puzzle game), Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping, and Is This Seat Taken?
My current obsession is Blue Prince. I went into the game "blind," meaning I did not do any research about it beforehand. In other words, I started the game spoiler free. I am glad that I did because not knowing what to do next, at least at the start, was captivating to me.
I have yet to complete the ultimate objective of reaching Room 46. At the time of writing, I already logged over twenty hours into the game. It is easy to figure out what to do but takes skill (and a little luck) to get things to work out the way you need or want.
Other Games
There are several other games I do not own but would love to play!
Storyteller (puzzle)
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (simulation)
Forza Horizon 6 (racing) 💗💗💗
Ministry of Order (puzzle)
There are many games I want to play, but these are the games I am most interested in currently. As of now, I know that I will buy and play Forza Horizon 6. I love a good open world racing game!
What's Next?
When I get the chance, I will start day forty-three in Blue Prince! I may also start a new game to switch things up.
