My Simple Birthday Wish List

*Or ridiculous birthday wish list depending on your perspective.

With my birthday happening in May, there are three selfish things I wish for. One of the things depends on the weather, and the forecast is not looking great.
In case it's helpful, below are the main points covered in this post:
Eat Something Yummy

It has been years since I ate a soft pretzel. Last year when I asked, I told my Dad that I wanted a soft pretzel. Dad gifted me with a trip and art supplies, two things I appreciated and adored! However, I never got my soft pretzel last year.
This year, I will get myself a soft pretzel! There is an Auntie Ann's in the nearby mall that I have never visited (I never go to the mall). More specifically, I am going to get an original soft pretzel with a cup of cheese, a frozen lemonade mixer, and whatever Dad wants if he wants anything from there.
Have Fun

There are many hobbies that bring me joy, and the child in me especially loves video gaming. While I want to play video games daily, that is not always the case. There are other things I will always prioritize over gaming.
This year for my birthday, I plan to dedicate time to playing one or more video games. Maybe I will start a new-to-me game like Planet Coaster 2 or Two Point Museum. I already own these games. I just need to dedicate the time to start playing them.
Chill

There is something about spending time outdoors that makes me feel relaxed and happy to be alive. It is a great natural cure for my sadness, provided that evil insects do not decide to wage war against me for whatever reason.
When the weather is nice, I love relaxing at the park for hours whenever possible. My dogs also enjoy being out of the house and absorbing nature. I am happy when my dogs are happy.
This year for my birthday, I wish to spend several chill hours at the park. I would take my dogs, a picnic blanket, treats, water, and fun activities (toys for the dogs and painting supplies or Nintendo Switch for me) so that we would have no excuse to leave earlier than preferred.
Rain would not keep me from spending hours at the park since there are covered picnic tables and benches throughout the park. However, I would not spend time outdoors during a thunderstorm. If the weather is unfavorable on my birthday, then maybe I will set up a faux picnic in my living room for the dogs and I to chill.
What's Next?
My birthday this year will be simple, but at least I will be happy! It feels good to put me first on this one special day.
